We want you to know how to make tv shows. We assume you have no prior knowledge of television production, and we try to keep everything easy and fun. At the same time, we try to give you enough in-depth information so that you understand the why of what you are doing, not just the how. We aren't going to make you an expert and an academy award winner your first time out. We are going to give you enough knowledge to try things, and see what happens. We'll probably start you out with a :30 promo so that you get some instant gratification. You can show the family and friends your promo, accept their warm accolades, and get on the next production.
Start with the tctv2 Orientation Session. This free, once a month class introduces you to public access and teaches you about some of the important rules and laws that you'll want to know before you put your show on the air. After that, you are welcome to sign up for classes. Where you go after that is up to you.
